Synopsis: 
​THE STORY: Our Town, a play by Thornton Wilder, was first performed in 1938 and has since become a staple of American theater. The play is a three-act exploration of life, love, and death in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. Our Town is notable for its minimalistic staging, as well as for its use of a Stage Manager character who both narrates and participates in the action. The play won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1938. ​
