YOUNG FILM-MAKERS WORKSHOP FOR AGES 12-18

The Power of the Lens is a hands-on workshop designed to introduce young people to film-making and to get students working with top-tier gear and leading industry professionals. This workshop will be taught by Rio Rancho film maker Khalid Naz.   Khalid has 14 + years of experience in the film industry and has directed and/or produced music videos, short films, feature films, social media filming, TV, and commercials.  In partnership with Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads, Khalid is offering this workshop to share his knowledge with students from around Rio Rancho/Albuquerque who want to learn about film-making, hone their craft, and be inspired in their artistic vision.   Students will learn about shooting video with cellphone, professional camera equipment, and drones.
