RRYC is back!  We begin our new season September 19
with virtual rehearsals Saturdays 2pm-3pm through December 5!
(or until we can rehearse in person again)
 
No auditions.  No previous chorus experience required. 
Just love to sing! 

 The Rio Rancho Youth Chorus is looking for singers of all backgrounds, styles, cultures, orientations, abilities and identities age 12-18 (through high school). No previous chorus experience is required. You just need to love to sing. Come join the fun!

Harmony of Music, Youth, and Fun!

CHORUS during Covid-19 restrictions:
This season we are holding VIRTUAL REHEARSALS on Zoom.  If/when restrictions change we will modify as permitted.    Weekly rehearsals at RR-YC begin with warm-ups for two purposes: to physically prepare the chorus members’ voices for singing and to teach vocal technique. After warm-ups, chorus members will spend time working on repertoire for concerts. Chorus members should ALWAYS have their music and a pencil with them.  Music will be provided electronically by the artistic director throughout each season.  Parents are invited to sit in on rehearsals as observers.  During the season we will create virtual performances/concerts.  We put a few samples from our summer sessions below.  

Dues are reduced for our 1st virtual season to  $50 per season which includes 10-15 sessions for instruction and rehearsal.  Rehearsals will be Saturdays at 2pm from September 19 - December 5.   You can register here:
